Under Armour’s latest Curry 4 ‘Flushed Pink’ combines the passion of red and the purity of white to create a pink sneaker that celebrates Valentine’s Day.
According to Under Armour, Stephen Curry had known Ayesha Alexander for years but it wasn’t until a trip to Los Angeles for an award show in 2008 that they went out for the first time. It was a usual LA date; the pair walked down Hollywood Boulevard and hit the Walk of Fame, the Kodak Theater, the Wax Museum, etc. Apparently, Stephen knew then that he was going to make Ayesha his wife.
In a celebration of the love for his wife, and his love of basketball, the limited edition Curry 4 flaunts a pastel pink synthetic upper that rides atop white tooling and a solid rubber outsole. Grey accents at the heels offer some contrast.
The Curry 4 ‘Flushed Pink’ will be available worldwide on February 18 at Eastbay.com, UA.com, and Under Armour Brand Houses for $130.
